Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait Annual Picnic 2016

Kuwait, Oct 18: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) organized its family picnic cum get together on 14th October 2016 at 10am at Ahmadi garden Kuwait. More than 100 members and guests witnessed the picnic.

The day began with the introduction and welcomes speech by Melwyn Mascarenhas and followed by the prayer of KWAK Secretary Charlotte DSouza. Before begin the games, grabbed a quick breakfast prepared by Inas Menezes, Louis Rebello and Alphonse Dsouza. All energized with joy and excitement as a family began the picnic with games. Special dish Charburi was prepared and distributed by Anitha Pereira and Steve Redrigues.

Games were conducted for children and adults by Rishan DSouza, Melwin Mascarenhas, Ivan Saldanha. The most important thing behind the picnic was time for the Barbeque. The men behind the success of delicious Barbeque are Edward Dsouza, Robert Cyril Menezes, InasMenezes, Alphonse Dsouza, Stanley, and Louis Rebello.

Grace before meal was recited by Rayzel Menezes. Weather was getting better as the day was going on. Mangalorean delicias lunch was prepared by Alwyn Dsouza. Since the time was passing on, had several games like kabbadi, breaking the pot, frog jump, balloon game, dodge ball, marble and spoon for all. Sharol Menezes proposed the vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude to the committee members specially President Ivan Menezes and all committee members who supported the success of the picnic and Shalet Mascarenhas for the photography. Picnic ended with the blessings of lady of Lourdes at 5:30 pm.
