Welcome to Kanajar
Kanajar, a serene beautiful place at the interior coast of Karnataka in Udupi district, is
surrounded by hills and mountains with rich vegetation. It is on the Bailur-Moodubelle-Udupi
road, located at a distance of about 3 Kms from Bailur.
Lourdes church Kanajar, Brahmalingeshwara temple Kanajar and Mahalingeshwara temple Kowdoor are
the main places of worship in the region. Friends Club, Ranganapalke and Jyothi Yuvaka Mandala,
Kanajar, are the non-religious affiliations which endeavor in preserving the cultural and social heritage.
