Environmental Worship at Shree Brahmalingeshwara Kshetra Kanajar

Kanajar, Jun 15: On the auspicious occasion of Mithuna Sankramana a unique event titled "Environmental Worship" was devoutly organized at Shree Brahmalingeshwara Kshetra Kanajar as part of the World Environment Day celebrations. The program was jointly held by Shree Brahmalingeshwara Temple Kanajar and the Shree Brahmalingeshwara Charitable Trust.

Commencing at 12 noon, the event witnessed the presence of the temple’s administrative trustee board, office bearers of the Brahmakalashotsava Committee, village elders, environmental enthusiasts, and local residents. The organizers addressed the gathering on the significance of environmental protection and the need to preserve the green earth, thereby raising awareness among attendees.
On this occasion, to promote greener surroundings, participants were encouraged to take a pledge to nurture their environment. As part of the initiative, a variety of saplings including jackfruit, wild jack, teak, ramapatre, and ixora were distributed free of cost to all attendees.
With the motto – “Save the Environment, Secure the Future. Nature is Divine – Let us Worship and Preserve it,” the event succeeded in instilling a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness among the people, emphasizing the duty to protect nature for the well-being of future generations.
