Monthi Feast Celebrations at Kanajar

Kanajar, Sep 8: The birth festival of Virgin Mary also the harvest festival was celebrated with fervor at Lourdes Church Kanajar. The celebration began at 8:30 AM with the blessing of the new crop (paddy stalks) by parish priest Rev. Fr. Harold Pereira, followed by the showering of flowers by the children in veneration to infant Mary. Rev. Fr. Joe Tauro, OCD, concelebrated the festive mass.
