Free Health Checkup Camp at Kanajar

Kanajar, Jun 26: Free Health Checkup Camp was organized at Kanajar Sauharda Bhavan under the aegis of the Commission for health and Commission for Women of Lourdes Kanajar parish, in association with Primary Health Centre Bailur, Prasad Netralaya Udupi, Sparsha Sampada Udupi, KMC Manipal, Indian Cancer Society and Lions Club Neere-Bailur.

Lourdes Church parish priest Rev. Fr. Harold Pereira inaugurated the event and presided over the function. Commission for Health convener Mr. JB D'Souza delivered welcome address. Dr. Hemant Hegde spoke on the Cancer awareness and preventive measures.
Sampada coordinator Mr. Stanley Fernandes praised the Lourdes church commissions for organizing the free health camp at Kanajar. About 150 people availed the free heath camp that included general health checkup, eye care and cancer checkup.
Ln. Ivan Miranda proposed vote of thanks. Mrs. Diana Saldanha compered the event.
