Senior Citizen Club Inaugurated

Kanajar, Apr 21: Senior Citizen Club was inaugurated by the Bishop Udupi diocese Rt. Rev. Dr. Gerald Lobo, under the aegis of family commission of Lourdes Church Kanajar, for seniors above 65 years of age.

Speaking on the occasion the Bishop said that the senior citizens are valuable resource of the society, their value based life being inspiration to all and the club would facilitate them to get social in their declining years. Parish priest Rev. Fr. Vishal Lobo and Mr. Leslie Aroza, Director of Commission for Family of Udupi Diocese, wished the best for the club. Parish council vice-president Mabel Nazareth, secretary Merwin D'Souza, Maria Saldanha and Gracy D'Souza were present on the dais.
