Kuwait, Dec 15: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) celebrated its Christmas Tree Program on 11th December 2015 at Salmiya hall, Salmiya. The program was started at 6.00pm with the general welcome by Melwyn Mascarenhas and introduction speech by Edward Dsouza.

Mr. Ivan Menezes, President of KWAK welcomed all members as well as guests.
Program continued with the Prayer led by Cultural Secretary Gretta DSa and her
team. A special Advent Message spreading program was conducted by Leena
Fernandes and team with 5 color candles and pluck cards.
Christmas cake was cut by main sponsor of the event Mr. Lawrence Saldanha,
Co-sponsor Mr. Robert DSouza, President and all Committee Members. Special
Kuswar was distributed to the Guests, which was prepared by Mr. Robert Menezes.
Kanajar Kids participated in Christmas dance and soon after all Committee
Members performed Carol singing. Christmas Tableau was well written & directed
by Mr. Edward D’Souza, narrated by Sharol Menezes and presented by the Committee
Members to spread the important of Christmas.
Santa Clause entry was the special attraction of the event with the kids and
goodie bags were distributed to all the kids. Well known Choreographer and
dancer Vinitha Dsouza and group performed a folk dance. Games for adults and
kids arranged by Melwin Mascrenhas and Leena Fernandes.

Program was continued with the skits by Antony Miranda and team, live singing
from Maxim & Irene Pinto and Folk dance by Committee Members. Prem Crasto
captured the whole event with his skills in photography. DJ Ralph Serrao played
lovely numbers. Housie Housie was the part of the program and conducted by
Edward D’Souza and Steeve Rodrigues. Vice President Rishawn Dsouza proposed Vote
of thanks.
Founder President Mr. Lawrence Saldanha appreciated each one, who worked for the
success of the event. Prayer before meal was recited by Cathy Machado and Grace
before meal by Razel Menezes. The delicious Mangalore food was served by Deepak
Martis to all the guests. The Program was well compered by Melwyn Mascarenhas
and Edward D’Souza. The Program was coordinated by Leena Fernandes and well
supported by Management Committee Members.
