Kanajar, Jun 30: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait [KWAK] had
celebrated their 15th anniversary to raise funds for a charitable cause. The
proceeds that remained after deducting minimal expenses were 7, 34,024.00/-
(Indian Rupees Seven Lakhs Thirty Four Thousand and Twenty Four only) in all,
were contributed towards two needy institutions:
1. Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre in Mangalore.
2. Manasa Rehabilitation Centre in Pamboor, Udupi District.

Snehalaya purchased an ambulance, Rev. Fr. Alexander Lewis Parish Priest of
Kanajar handed over the same to Mr. Joseph Crasta – Managing Trustee of
Snehalaya Mangalore and the amounts in the form of cheques were recently handed
over Mr. Henry Menezes, President/Managing Trustee of Manasa in a simple
ceremony held at Kanajar recently.
Mr. Joseph Crasta, Mr. Henry Menezes and Sr. Thelma (Head staff of Manasa)
thanked KWAK and its generous supporters, keeping them all in their prayers.

Another Small CCTV inauguration function held at Manasa campus. Mr. Henry
Menezes Managing Trustee welcomed gathered people. Rev. Fr. Stany Rego Parish
Priest of Pamboor church blessed CCTV surveillance system in Manasa premises.
Sr. Thelma Head staff of Manasa rehabilitation Centre along with managing
trusties are gathered.
On behalf of KWAK, President Antony Victor Miranda expressed his gratitude to
all the generous sponsors, well-wishers, and the audience who whole-heartedly
supported and encouraged KWAK for the noble cause of Charity. Sr. Thelma
proposed vote of thanks.
