LKAE Celebrates Monthi Festh

Dubai, Sep 17: Lourdes Kanajar Association Emirates (LKAE) celebrated "Monthi Festh" at Winny's Restaurant, Dubai on Friday, September 13. The program began with prayers led by Mrs. Hilda D'Souza followed by the showering of flowers to Mother Mary by children and adults alike whilst singing the hymns "Sakkad sangatha melyam" and "Moryek hogolsiyam".

LKAE president Mr. Vijay Barboza welcomed the gathering. New members were welcomed to the association by presenting them with flowers. Cultural programs and games were conducted accompanied by DJ music. Mrs. Nisha D'Souza and Cinni Saldanha compered the program.

Traditional feast food (Novem Jevan) was served in the noon. The program concluded with vote of thanks by founder president of LKAE Mr. Stan D'Souza who also spoke about welfare programs and contribution of LKAE towards education of poor students at Kanajar.
