KWAK Celebrates Feast of Nativity

Kuwait, Sep 13: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) celebrated the feast of Nativity on Friday the 13th of September at Residence of Valerian Rebello, B’neid Al-Gar.

The program started at 11.30 am with KWAK President Mr. Edward D'Souza welcoming the gathering. Children and adults alike showered flowers on Mother Mary whilst singing the hymns 'Sakkad Sangatha Melliyan'.

The food was prepared by KWAK members, with a special vegetarian menu which is symbolic to the new harvest of coastal Karnataka. This time nearly hundred Kanajarean and their friends, relatives had gathered. At the end of the program a housie game was conducted by Antony Miranda and Ivan Menezes.

The program was nicely conducted by Edward D'Souza and the General Body Meeting was held thereafter.
