KWAK Celebrates Feast of Nativity 2012

Kuwait, Sep 14: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) celebrated the feast of Nativity on Friday the 14th of September at Salmiya, party hall, Salmiya.

The program started at 11.30 am, President Edward D’souza welcomed to gatherer people. A prayer led by Jyothi Fernandes and Reynol Menezes. Charlotte DSouza and Antony Miranda started the proceedings in a traditional way. Children and adults alike offered flowers to Mother Mary whilst singing the hymns 'Sakkad Sangatha Melliyan'.

Skit and jokes also dance was organized by KWAK. Participated by Avil Fernandes, Lionel Mascarenhas, Victor Saldahna, Baby Raysel Menezes, Baby Carolyn.

The food was prepared by KWAK members, with a special vegetarian menu which is symbolic to the new harvest of coastal Karnataka. This time more than hundred Kanajarean and their friends, relatives gathered. At the end of the program a housie game was conducted by Antony Miranda and Melwyn Mascaranhas.

The program was nicely conducted by Melwyn Mascarenhas. All in all, it was a memorable day filled with fun & frolic.
