KWAK Celebrate Monthi Feast

Kuwait, Sep 17: KWAK celebrated Monthi Feast, the festival of the Nativity of Mother Mary. Kanajareans gathered in large numbers at the residence of Mr. Lancy and Mrs. Rose Mary Mendonca, a prominent member of KWAK.

The program started at 12 noon with KWAK President Henry Britto welcoming the gathering. Rashma Britto conducted the prayer which was followed by children showering flowers with the singing of the famous Konkani hymn 'Sakkad Sangatha Melyan'.

Several games were conducted by Edwerd, Antony, Robert D’souza, Robert Menezes and Wilson. Prizes were sponsored and given to the winners by the Mrs. Juliana Barboza and Fly,

Special food was prepared by Kanajar Parishioners and was served in a traditional way using 'Shirothi. A total of 13 different varieties of vegetable dishes were served.

Gen Secretary Mr. Edwerd D'Souza gave vote of thanks to conclude the program.
