KWAK Celebrates Decennial Year

Kuwait, Apr 30: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait celebrated its 10th Anniversary on 30th April, 2010. On this auspicious occasion a family Picnic was organized at Mushrif Gardens.

The program started at 10am with prayer by secretary Mr. Edward D'Souza, and welcome address by President Mr. Henry Britto. After the breakfast many games were held, conducted by the MC of the day Mr. Walter. All the gathered crowd participated and it was a fun filled morning.

A stage program was held in the afternoon. The chief guest was Rev. Fr. John Hary D'Souza, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Arabia Church, Ahmadi, Ex-Presidents Mr. Melwyn Mascarenhas, Mr. Antony Victor Miranda and ex-Secretary Mrs. Rose Mary Mendonca were at the stage. A memorable 10th Anniversary cake cutting was done by the honorable guests.

Fr. John Hary D'Souza, in his speech blessed the association and prayed for the association's future. During the program ex-presidents and founders were felicitated by Fr. John Hary D'Souza.

Several games were held and prizes were distributed. The food was prepared by KWAK member families and was served to all gathered people.

KWAK secretary Mr. Edward D'Souza proposed vote of thanks.
