Muddu Krishna Contest at Lourdes School

Kanajar, Sep 1: It was Shree Krishna Leela at Kanajar when several Muddu Krishnas appeared at Lourdes Higher Primary School here. The contestant children of the school were dressed colorfully to mimic the infant Lord Krishna. The competition was held on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, under the aegis of Sri Krishna Mutt, Udupi. The function was presided over by Sri Boja Shetty, President, Bailur Panchayat, Sr. Lizzy, Headmistress of St. Joachim School, Kadaba and Smt. Rathna Shedty.

Apoorva bagged the first prize while Prithvi Shetty bagged the second prize in the contest of children above 5 years, while Aishwarya and Akhilesh bagged the first and second prize in the contest for under 5 years.
