Dubai: LKAE to Host Volleyball and Throwball Tourney on Dec 2

Lourdes Kanajar Association of Emirates is back once again with their annual sports event which will be held on the UAE National Day 2nd Dec. 2006, at Emirates English Speaking School Grounds, Jumeira, from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM. In the last two tournaments held in 2004 & 2005, there has been a huge turnout of participants especially from the coastal region of Karnataka that helped LKAE showcase some of the finest sport talents available in the Emirate.

The proceeds of the event will support the needy students back home in pursuing higher education in various fields. LKAE has sponsored seven needy children this year, who are currently undergoing studies in BSc. Nursing, Gen. Nursing and other Degree programs in Karnataka, India.

Dubai, Nov 25: The Volley ball and Throw ball fixtures were announced here at Winny's Restaurant, Karama, in the presence of team captains and representatives.
