KWAK Monthi Feast 2008

Kanajar Welfare Association, Kuwait (KWAK) will be celebrating the Nativity Feast (Monthi feast) on September 12, 2008 10:00 AM at the residence of Mr.&.Mrs Lancy Rose Mendonca at Farwaniya. KWAK is delighted to invite all the member and families, relatives & friends to the celebration.

We all know that the Nativity Feast has a special significance in our life as we celebrate this day as a Family Feast too where all members of a family unite and share a banquet of new corn.. We being in a foreign country away from family this is a rare occasion to come together and celebrate with our brethren the birthday of our Heavenly Mother. Every year on 8th of September we commemorate the birth of Mother of God and Our Beloved Mother who was born to a blessed couple St. Joachim & St. Anna. We are privileged to have a Mother who is so loving & caring and unceasingly interceding for us to our Heavenly Father. This is an opportunity to show our love & gratitude in return to all that she has gained for us through her prayers. Dear all come & party with us as one family and be grateful to Almighty God for giving a good harvest this year too to our farmers back home. Especially most of us are from an agricultural background and this is the day we offer our harvest to God with thankful heart. So let us unite and celebrate in a traditional manner and recall our childhood memories of showering flowers to Mother Mary when our own little children will do so. Moreover, there will be a lot of entertainment for all and sumptuous lunch served with home made specialties from Kanajareans.
