Kanajar, Mar 20: The Graduation and Awards ceremony of the Kindergarten of Lourdes English Medium School Kanajar was held at the the Kanajar Souharda Bhavan auditorium.
School Principal Mrs. Jasmine Pinto provided brief report of the events and achievements
of the students. Mrs. Josline Lobo, school staff, presented a PPT of the student activities
and celebration events. The first issue of the school magazine 'Lourdite 2023-2024' was
released by chief guest Mrs. Varsha Kamath on this occasion.
In his presidential address school correspondent Rev. Fr Harold Pereira acknowledged the
support given by the management committee members, and also the Neere Gram Panchayat
contributions towards the infrastructure development of the village. He thanked the Principal,
school staff, parents, parishioners, donors and well wishers of the school and sought their
continued support to impart qualitative education for the students of this vicinity.
Guests of the day Mr. Stany Saldanha, the Vice President of Parish Council, Mr. Sachidananda
Prabhu, the President of Neere Gram Panchayat and PTA President of Lourdes School gave away the
prizes to the winners. Chief guest Varsha Kamat congratulated the graduated children, appreciated
the teachers and urged the young parents to spend time with their little ones as she explained
the parents role in the upbringing of their children.
