Herald Ivan Monis Awarded at Athenaeum 2010

Kanajar, Mar 6: Mr. Herald Ivan Monis has secured second prize in the category of Research Papers in Athenaeum 2010 - IV International Conference on Management Research held at Bharathidasan Institute of Management (ISO 9001:2000 Certified), Tiruchchirapalli, India for his Research Paper titled "Employee Perceptions of Performance Appraisal System in BPOs operating in India - An Empirical Study".

Herald is currently appointed as the Selection Grade Lecturer in the Dept of Commerce at Milagres College, Kallianpur. He hails from Panadka (Fathima Ward) and is son of Mr Henry Monis and Late Mary Monis. He is married to Sonia and has a daughter, Chrisanne.

Herald is currently pursuing Ph.D. on the Teacher Fellowship under the Faculty Improvement Program (FIP) of the University Grant Commission (UGC) in Mangalore University under the guidance of Prof. Dr. T. N. Sreedhara, M.Com., Ph.D., Professor in the Department of Business Administration, Mangalore University. He has edited a book titled "Coastal Tourism - Development of Coastal Karnataka as a Destination for Tourism - Opportunities and Constraints". He has completed a Research Project on "The Problems and Prospects of Commercial Pisciculture - A Study with Special Reference to Karkala Taluk of Karnataka". He has presented research papers in International and National Level Conferences and has published research articles in different journals. He is a rank holder in B.Com. (IInd rank) from Mangalore University.
